Not funny, should one say cool to this, moon burials, well Elysium Space believe it is cool ::: Earlier this month, Elysium Space launched its “lunar memorial” service and announced it would soon be sending the remains of a U.S. Army infantry soldier’s mother to the moon, TechCrunch reports. Although the service will normally cost about $12,000, the company is offering a discounted price of $9,950 for the first 50 reservations. The San Francisco company is the second to get into the moon burial business, joining Houston, Texas–based Celestis. Other space burial options that will be offered by both include having your remains launched into deep space or deposited in Earth’s orbit, where they eventually burn up in the atmosphere.
