According to the gist going round on the web, MTV is set to confer its highest honor on Kanye West on August 30 2015 ::: Before now, winners of the award are Madonna (1986), Micheal Jackson (1988), Janet Jackson (1990), as well as U2, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce for 2001, 2011, 2013 and 2014 respectively. Though Kanye West is to be presented with the honor he hasn’t any nominations for this year’s MTVs, an event that has seen him pocket two previous awards.
