You never know when TRAGEDY will show its face, 159 passengers escape TRAGEDY at McCarran Airport, Las Vegas, USA ::: Tragedy was averted when a London bound British Airways flight on the tarmac at McCarran Airport on Tuesday night (8th September 2015) suddenly caught fire. Frightened passengers were forced to jump down the evacuation slides and run away from the blaze. The plane was preparing for take off. Few people were taken to a local hospital for treatment after suffering minor injuries. There were 159 passengers and 13 crew members on board at the time. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
